with Helen Whybrow

Date: May 21, 2019

For the fifth year, Knoll Farm will be part of ongoing research on wild pollinators led by the Gund Institute at UVM. While most of the attention on the media has been on the plight of honey bees, scientists are uncovering a less visible, but much more serious story: the same pesticides that are killing honeybees are contributing to the major spike in decline of wild pollinators. Come for a free walk and conversation about what we have learned as farmers and what you can do as landowners to protect these insects that are so vital to our food supply and health of our ecosystems.
